Cyberbullying Project
Your job is to create an iBook or a comic strip using an iPad to teach someone about cyberbullying.

Your iBook/comic strip needs to clearly explain:
1. what cyberbullying is
2. how cyberbullying is different from face-to-face bullying
3. what someone should do if he/she is being cyberbullied

Ways that cyberbullying and face-to-face bullying are the same:
- both are done with the goal of harassing the target
- both cause the target to feel hurt, embarrassed, helpless and/or angry
- both may lead to the target not wanting to come to school, feeling physically/emotionally ill
- both are illegal: schools MUST get involved to stop the bullying

What someone can do if he/she is being bullied:
- Don't respond. Ignore. If the bully knows that his/her bullying behavior has upset the target, he/she may be encouraged to continue.
- Block the bully from IM, email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Save/print the messages from the bully if possible
- Report the bullying messages to the email company (Yahoo, Gmail) or social networking site (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Talk to a friend
- Tell an adult you trust such as a parent or teacher
